Pennywise grabs Stan, only for the Losers to use It's ability to access their imaginations against him; Eddie imagines his inhaler is full of battery acid and uses it to melt the clown's face while Beverly uses a slingshot and a silver projectile, which the Losers imagine will kill It, to smash a hole in the clown's head. I won’t go into detail as I don’t want to spoil it and it does make sense in an odd kind of way but it is wholly unnecessary. The novel is huge and is able to cover a vast number of incidents and characters but the miniseries, despite coming in at over three hours, lacks this scope.

They are followed by Henry and his friends, Victor Criss and Belch Huggins, who are intent on killing them.Finally, the most controversial scene in the book which, thankfully fails to make it into either the miniseries or the new film, comes toward the climax of the book. This chair based exercise routine is ideal for people who are concerned about their ability to stand while exercising.

The worries, the fears of bullying, the drudgery of housework, and the adventure of hanging with your friends is perfectly captured by King and fairly well recreated by the filmmakers. Richie is cast in a film with an actor resembling Eddie, while Beverly and Ben are finally married and expect their first child. Whereas the book has the advantage of a limitless budget (whatever your imagination can afford) the series is badly damaged by budgetary restraints and, because of this, is unable to really stage the scenes of horror in the way they should be. The miniseries of IT is very close to the novel (apart from the aforementioned scene and the Turtle) and it’s easy to see why King may think highly of it, it is, after all, very close to his source material. Series One- The responsibilities of potential fatherhood are weighing down on each in a different way: Carl's girlfriend is desperate for commitment, Jon is torturing himself over the daughter he gave up for adoption when he was 17, and Andy discovers that it is he who may be soon enjoying the pleasures of being a parent.It shows exercises that are easy to do and will help to improve musle strength and all round flexibility. Bill, Ben and Richie nearly get lost in It's Deadlights and Eddie is killed attempting to save his friends. Mike is hospitalized by Henry, who in turn is killed by his own knife during a scuffle with the other Losers.
