We've just posted our 1-year video update with our latest findings on temporary image retention, burn-in, and more! OLEDs this size can’t go as bright as their bigger brothers, but the inky blacks of OLED plus the C3’s particularly bold approach make for an image that’s packed with punch. It's got a slightly less bright panel than the larger C3 models and it doesn't feature MLA or QD-OLED tech (which hasn't yet made it down to this sort of size), but it does boast the same exceptional feature set as well as the best overall picture quality available at this size. It sounds good by TV standards, too, and the feature set will be strong enough for all but the most hardcore of gamers. Other apps that are less common but potentially worth looking out for include BT Sport, Now, Britbox, and music apps such as Spotify and Tidal.

The terrestrial catch-up apps are coming later, too, which is particularly annoying in the case of BBC iPlayer. If you’ve finalised the TV you want, mark your calendar for the upcoming Black Friday TV deals to get yours at an irresistible discount. It's a good gaming TV if you don't care about advanced features, as it doesn't support VRR and is limited to a 60Hz refresh rate, but it does have a fast response time and very low input lag. If you want a more feature-rich experience than the budget models provide but don't want to pay much, the Sony X85K is the best mid-range small TV we've tested.

You just need to figure out your budget, how big you can / are able to go, and what technologies are important to you. Although it supports HDR, it lacks a local dimming feature and can't get bright enough for HDR content to stand out.

While some apps, such as Netflix and Prime Video, are now commonplace, there may be an app that you love that’s less common. Samsung's QLEDs have got better and better over the years, existing as a fine alternative to OLEDs TVs. While not quite as exceptional as its pictures, the C845K’s sound is still much better than we would expect with such an affordable TV. Fancy gaming features such as Auto Low Latency Mode and Variable Refresh Rate are often supported via HDMI 2. Plus, you can see all your favourite content in one screen with the Multi View feature which allows you to split your screen and view several types of content at the same time.In terms of sound, the A80L is a bit bass-light, but that does mean that it stays composed even through our Blade Runner 2049 stress test. The Roku Select Series replaced the Hisense A6/A65K as the 'Best Budget Small TV' due to the Hisense only being sold at Costco. In fact, they leave the vast majority of much more expensive mid-range and even a few really premium TVs looking dull by comparison. Several of the TVs above might be eye-wateringly expensive, but if you have the money to spend, we promise they're worth it. You want OLED picture quality: With deep blacks and punchy colors, the LG B3 has an outstanding picture despite being LGs' entry-level 2023 OLED.

If you mostly watch content in a bright room, an LED TV like the Samsung QN90C/QN90CD QLED is better than the LG C3 OLED. Samsung has lifted the lid on its entire new TV range including the flagship Samsung S95D, which features new anti-glare tech and as well as the Samsung S90D, follow-up to our TV of the year, the Samsung S90C. The C845K's stunning brightness and colour vibrancy contribute to an excellent gaming performance, and it also supports next-gen gaming specs including 4K/120Hz, VRR and ALLM over two of its four HDMI sockets. It handles glare well thanks to its decent reflection handling, making it a good choice for an office or bedroom with lots of light, especially when watching SDR content.Multiple Formats/Interfaces] The product is equipped with USB port, memory card slot, U disk content player, and it supports functions like 1080p video, MKV, MOV, AVI, WMV, MP4, FLV, MPEG1‑4, MP3. There are a number of TVs on this list that support all of these features, but we have a dedicated best gaming TVs guide for those to whom gaming is the primary concern.
