During the late 90s three of the band members, Gary Barlow, Mark Owen and Robbie Williams, enjoyed solo singing careers with varying degrees of success. The band gave an exclusive performance on the night, giving audiences a taste of some of the upbeat songs included in the film.

In March 2022, it was announced Aisling Bea would star in the film alongside Alice Lowe, Amaka Okafor, Jayde Adams, Marc Wootton, Matthew McNulty, Lara McDonnell, Jessie Mae Alonzo, Nandi Sawyers-Hudson, Carragon Guest, and Eliza Dobson. Speaking to What To Watch at the world premiere of Greatest Days on Thursday, June 15, Calum said: "It was incredible collaborating with those guys - they're pop royalty! Aaron Bryan, Dalvin Cory, Joshua Jung, Mark Samaras and Mervin Noronha would make up the film's fictional boy band.Cush has starred in Deadwater Fell and The Good Wife, whilst Rosamund is best known for her role in Gone Girl. A couple of years later Take That reformed as a group to record their seventh studio album, but it was short-lived, in 2014 both Robbie and Jason decided to leave. This feel-good soundtrack features hit songs from Take That, including Rule the World, The Flood, Could It Be Magic, Shine, Relight My Fire, Back For Good and other memorable classics that have been reimagined by the film’s cast: Aisling Bea (This Way Up), Alice Lowe (Black Mirror), Jayde Adams (The Outlaws), Amaka Okafor (The Responder) and Marc Wootton (Nativity!

The soundtrack was recorded by the cast of the upcoming film, out today (16th June), including Aisling Bea, Jayde Adams, Alice Lowe and Amaka Okafor. Gary released his fifth solo studio album on 27th November, 'Music Played By Humans', which debuted at Number 1 in the UK! Greatest Days is released in UK and ROI cinemas on Friday 16th June and follows five best friends who have the night of their lives seeing their favourite boy band in concert. The film responds so well to how Boyband or other artist groups used to and still manage to attract fans with their music and styles. Speaking about the concert on Twitter, they wrote: 'It was incredible to perform live together again for the first time in 4 years and there is so much more to come. Strictly Come Dancing's Jayde Adams is also part of the film, and Rachel's mother will be played by Hannah James-Scott - sister of Hollywood star Andrew Scott. Over the years, however, the five have lost contact with each other, so that their mutual bond has become less.

We don’t share your credit card details with third-party sellers, and we don’t sell your information to others. The band shared the trailer to their YouTube page back on 20th April, with a description which read: 'You are invited to a reunion you'll never forget 💙', before confirming the release date of 16th June 2023. Since their reunion as a four-piece, it was clear that they hadn't lost the momentum they had in the 90s with another string of hits including 'Shine', 'Rule the World' and 'Greatest Day'. The beginning of the film takes place in 1993, when the schoolgirls are age 15/16 (and the same year Take That had their first number 1 UK single. If they suddenly make a time jump later in the film after the now, where the same characters are suddenly older, it can take some getting used to because of how the characters have changed. And we have been talking obviously about a new record and when that will be and what kind of thing that will be. It puts a mirror on our audience – it's a celebration of our music but it's literally all about the fans and their friendships. The reunion is not just that they go to a reunion of a band, it's a reunion of their friendship and everything that's happened.
